How an appointment is made, from the first message to the door
Everything here goes through Delphine at the switchboard. She takes the message, proposes the names, confirms the hour in writing, and briefs your companion on where she is going and how she should present herself. Nothing is worked out in a doorway.

How an arrangement runs
One written exchange arranges the whole of it. No form to fill in, nothing to say out loud, nothing left with a front desk.
Write, with four things in it
The day and hour, the length from the tariff, the address, and a name from the Salon if you have one. If you have none, describe the evening and Delphine will propose two.
Read the confirmation
She answers in the same thread with the companion, the length, the figure in whole pounds and the minute of arrival. If any of it is not what you meant, say so then.
Settle the door
For a hotel she needs the surname the room is under, the hotel and the room number. For a private address, the street, number, floor and the name on the bell. She also asks how your companion should arrive: announced at the desk, met in the hall, or straight up to a door on the latch.
She arrives, and that is the whole of it
Your companion comes by car and rings at the agreed minute. The fee is settled with her in person then, at the figure already in your thread. Nothing is added afterwards.

Why the switchboard asks what it asks
The surname and the room number are not a formality. They are what let a companion cross a lobby without hesitating and without asking anyone a question, which is the difference between a discreet arrival and a memorable one.
She asks for nothing else. Not what you do, not who you are, not why the evening is wanted. The day book holds a first name, a way of reaching you, an address and an hour, and it is cleared afterwards.

Notice, and what is possible late
Write by the middle of the afternoon and the whole of the Salon is open to you. Write at eleven at night and somebody good will still come, from whoever the day book has left.
In the centre the interval between a confirmation and a knock is usually well inside the hour, since most companions live within a mile of the Mayfair blocks and the Belgravia squares. Plans move, too: three hours of warning or more costs nothing, inside two hours half the agreed fee stands, and there is a quarter of an hour of grace on the start.

Can I book several days ahead, or is this a same evening service?
Both, and ahead is better. Delphine holds dated bookings weeks in advance and confirms each again in the week it falls.
What if I do not know which companion to ask for?
Describe the evening instead: the district, the length, whether a table is involved. Delphine has met all twenty eight and puts forward two names with reasons.
Will anybody telephone my hotel?
Never. This house makes no calls to venues and holds no arrangement with any hotel in London. Your companion arrives as your invited guest.
Can a booking be made for somebody else?
Only where that person knows and is expecting her. Delphine will want contact with whoever is actually at the door, since a companion arriving as a surprise is not welcome.
Can an evening be extended once it has begun?
Where the diary allows. Delphine rewrites it at the next length on the tariff, so two hours at £500 becomes three at £700, and your companion is told the corrected figure first.

Write where you are and when you would like her. A name and an arrival window come back, and the evening is arranged from there.
Guests are 18+ without exception. A fee is for time and companionship only, and the whole tariff is on the rates page.
