What sort of photography this is

It is glamour and lifestyle work: an evening outfit, a real room, ordinary light. Portraits, full length shots, a little movement. Nudity does not appear on this site at all, and none of the images are explicit in any sense of that word.

The sessions are arranged by this house with photographers we work with regularly. Each companion chooses what she wears and approves what is published, and she can have any image withdrawn at any time without giving a reason.

Faces, and why they are softened

Faces are deliberately softened in the published images. It is done lightly, with a slight blur or a turn of the head, and the reason is stated plainly: the women listed here have careers, courses of study and families entirely apart from this one, and their anonymity is the condition upon which they consent to appear at all. It is not an effect and not a preference: every face here is softened, without exception. The face as it is appears to one person in one place, which is to the guest standing opposite her when she arrives.

Nothing else is interfered with. Her height, her figure, her hair, her colouring, her carriage and the way she dresses are exactly as photographed, checked against the woman herself rather than against a wishlist, because a guest who is surprised at a door has been misled. If a companion cuts her hair, the pages and the photographs are updated rather than left to drift.

What is never done

No image on this site was taken from anywhere else, bought from an agency library or generated by a machine. No face is swapped onto another body. No photograph is retouched to alter a figure, a waist or a jawline, and nothing published here shows a woman who is not part of this house.

If anything on these pages ever strikes you as not matching the person who arrives, say so to the switchboard immediately. That would be a serious failure by this house rather than a small discrepancy, and it would be treated as one.

How current they are

Each companion is re-photographed when her appearance changes meaningfully and otherwise at regular intervals, and the date of the most recent session is held by the switchboard. If you want to know how recent a particular set is before you book, ask Delphine and she will tell you the month.

The use of these images

They are the property of this house and of the women in them. They are not to be copied, saved, republished or submitted to a reverse image search, and no crop taken from the Salon may be reproduced anywhere else.

Any effort to establish who a companion is beyond these pages brings the arrangement to an end. Attempting to identify her, photographing her or recording her without written consent closes an appointment immediately under the conduct clause of the terms, with the tariff retained entire and no reason owed to anyone.
