About Rosa
Curls are the whole of the first impression and Rosa has long since stopped fighting them. She is 160 cm, curvy, with long chestnut brown hair that goes its own way and brown eyes set in a face that is almost always about to smile. She dresses in things that move: a full skirt, a soft knit, good boots in the winter. She is the smallest woman on this roster and the one people notice first, which she finds funny and slightly unfair.
Her company is easy and generous and rather chaotic in the best sense. Her English comes out in a rush when she is enthusiastic, which is most of the time. She is interested in makers: who made a thing, how long it took, what they were paid for it. Marylebone is home and she knows every workshop and small shop between Marylebone Lane and Wigmore Street by name.
Bond Street suits her for the same reason. She likes Cecconi's on Burlington Gardens, a minute from the top of Old Bond Street, where the room is bright and busy and the bar is a perfectly good place to eat if the tables have gone. She orders several small things and changes her mind twice. Afterwards she walks the arcades, looking in windows at things she has decided opinions about and no intention of owning.
The rest of what happens around Bond Street at night is on its page, and the lengths are at rates. Offer a date through booking and the hour is arranged.
- 160 cm, curvy, long chestnut brown curls
- Brown eyes and a face permanently about to smile
- Twenty five; fast, enthusiastic English
- Marylebone based, ten minutes from Bond Street
- Bright rooms, small plates, the arcades afterwards

Arranging her evening
Rosa is at her best over a long, unfussy evening and prefers a table booked late enough that nobody is waiting for it. Delphine needs the date and the address to set it in motion.
Her figures are the house figures, set out in full on the rates page, and the whole arrangement runs in one written exchange from the first line to the confirmation.

An evening with Rosa
She talks from the moment she sits down and she is worth listening to, which is not always the same thing. Rosa will have something to report about the walk over, usually involving a shop window and a strong opinion. The room being busy suits her; she is at her best with a bit of noise around the table.
Dinner is ordered in pieces rather than in courses, and she will change her mind about at least one of them. She asks a great many questions and remembers every answer, and she is entirely without side. Later she likes the arcades, empty and lit, where she does a slow circuit and delivers a running commentary. Anything beyond that is for you to decide, and she is easy with it.
Before you write
Rosa, in her own words
What do you look at in a window?
Whether a person made it or a machine did. You can tell, and once you can see it you cannot stop seeing it.
Does the height bother you?
Only on public transport. At a table I am exactly the same size as everybody else and considerably louder.
Bar or table?
Bar, if the table means waiting. An hour lost to a reservation is an hour of the evening gone for nothing. At a bar I order in pieces, change my mind once, and talk to whoever is pouring.

Remarks
What guests have written
Nothing is written here for Rosa yet, which in a house this size is usually what discretion looks like. A remark is put up after a guest has offered one, she has agreed to it in writing, and Delphine has satisfied herself that it carries a first name, a month and no private detail of any kind.
